In this post, you can learn how to download The PocketPatient™ application and use this app to manage your appointments at Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center in Twinsburg, Ohio.

To log in and use this app, the office has to grant you permission to set yourself up in our Patient Portal.  Ask for that when you make an appointment or are in the office.  Or just contact us and request an email with a link to your private patient portal.

Please note: We are not using this for picture/video communication or telemedicine at this time.

1. Open the link you get in your appointment reminder email or text on your smartphone and select the provided hyperlink. This redirects you to the App Store to download the PocketPatient™ application.

Note: If the application has already been downloaded, the hyperlink will redirect you directly to the downloaded application.

Please check your spam folder in your email and smartphone if you have not received notifications.

2. You will receive a pop-up asking to Allow Push Notifications. It is highly recommended for patients to Allow you to receive push notifications for updates. If you do not allow, you will have to log into the app frequently to check for updates.

3. Enter the practice URL (dermswohio.ema.md), your username, and the password to log into the app. These are the same credentials utilized when accessing your online Patient Portal.

Step Three - The patient enters your practice URL, their username, and password to log into the app.

4. Upon the first login, you are presented with a Telehealth Terms of Service and Privacy Policy consent form. Patient’s must agree to these terms by selecting Agree.

5. Then select Get Started to access the appointments screen where you can see and manage your appointments.  Please note: We are not doing video or telemedicine at this time.

Step Five - Welcome to PocketPatient

After you are all set up, you can make new appointments online from your computer or phone. If you have any questions, please contact the office by email at dr.cohn@yourgreatskin.net.  Or call 866-680-8505 and ask for your Patient Portal to be activated.
